You must abide by these rules at all times.
Rules in General
RESPECT; Respect plays a large role in a successful forum, so treat other members as you wish to be treated. This will give us a nice atmosphere and a pleasant place to role play in. Please do not abuse any member of the forum in any way as it will not be tolerated. Abuse means any form of bullying, be it gender abuse, racism, etc. Anyone seen doing this will be deleted without question.
MATURITY; Please be mature, no silly little disputes. If arguments do break out, then please notify a member of staff and they will try to help out the members in question.
GRAMMAR; Grammar can be difficult for some, so try your best to make sure your posts are well presented and are using correct punctuation and grammar. Any mistakes will be corrected, I would like to remind you that text talk will not be permitted. It's hard to read and looks very messy.
WARNINGS; Warnings will be given to anyone seen breaking the rules, they are in place to ensure everyone has a nice time here and to make sure that they want to return here. If you have a full warning meter, your account will be disabled for 3 days, if you continue to break the rules after that time, you will be banned indefinitely.
ADVERTISING; No advertising on any board of the forum except the affiliation and advertising board. You may advertise in your signature as long as you provide a link back to us here at Dancing with Danger.
GRAPHICS; Avatars and signatures are welcome on this forum, but please take into account the following sentences. Avatars must be no larger than 100x100 pixels in size, if any are seen to be bigger, they will be removed. Signature pictures must not exceed 600x250 pixels, again if any pictures bigger than this are seen, they will be removed. You are allowed 1 picture in your signature, and unlimited text to fill up the character count.
STAFF; Staff Members are here to help you, so please treat them with respect. No amount of posts will let you become a staff member, that decision is for me and me alone. Do not PM me to ask me to become a staff member as this will stunt your chances, I will monitor members closely and will personally ask them to join the staff team.
Role Playing Rules
CANONS; Canon characters are important to the storyline, so check the list if you wish to become one. You must be willing to accept the canon character and must be active.
APPLICATIONS; Character applications must be posted in the correct board for them to be checked. The submission form is in the submission board, copy and paste it into a new topic and fill out all fields to the best of your ability. You must wait to be approved or denied by a staff member before you are able to post in the in-character sections.
GODMODS/MARY-SUES/GARY-STU'S; Absolutely no Godmods, this makes the role play pointless if you are controlling other characters. However, if you are away for a period of time and wish the role play to continue, you can PM a fellow role player and ask them to carry you along with them so you can rejoin when you return. Mary Sues and Gary Stu's are not tolerated, your character can't be absolutely 100% perfect, give them imperfections, flaws, distinctive traits, this will make them more life like and easier to role play with.
DEATHS; Do not kill off a character unless you have the creator's permission and the reassurance of the person playing the character - if things come to deaths, make sure to post a warning for those of us who are queasy!
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS; The maximum number of characters one person can register is currently set at 3. If you wish to role play more than one character, feel free, but both must be active, if not, the least active one will be deleted. Only ONE canon character per person please.
INACTIVITY; If you are going to be gone, please say so and post on the Floo board. Make sure that I and the other staff members know that you are going to be gone. If you don't, it could result in your account to be deleted. If you are gone for more than one month (especially without telling us) you will be deleted.
If there is a thread that has been inactive for more than a week, it will also go on the Floo board on the dead thread board.

alright everyone, I know that there are a lot of rules, but I'm sure you have seen more before. If you are new to rping, please don't let all these rules intimidate you. I just want everyone to have as much fun as possible here as we possible can.
